Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Circle10 collects through this website, why we collect it, and your rights. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
The data controller is Circle 10 Consultancy Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 09422205. Registered office: Charnham Lane, Hungerford, Berkshire, United Kingdom, RG17 0EY.
For anything about your data, email info@circle10.com.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address and message. We use these only to reply and to discuss any work you ask us about. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and, where you want to work with us, taking steps before entering into a contract.
Email. If you email us directly, we hold your email and its contents for the same purpose.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Cookies and analytics
We use Fathom Analytics to understand how people use this site (for example which pages are viewed). Fathom is privacy-focused: it does not use advertising cookies and, in its default setup, does not use tracking cookies to identify you across other websites. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address so the fonts can be delivered.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc.: hosts this website and receives contact form submissions. Netlify is based in the USA; transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Fathom Analytics (usefathom.com): provides privacy-focused website analytics. Fathom is based in the USA; transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google: serves the web fonts used on this site.
- Our email provider: stores enquiries and our replies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don’t lead to work for up to 12 months, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep relevant correspondence for as long as needed to provide our services and for up to 6 years afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Form submissions are removed from Netlify once they have been dealt with.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable
To use any of these rights, email info@circle10.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
